Fundraising

Mortimer Cricket Club raises funds every year in a number of ways. Social events, sponsors, donations and subscriptions all provide important income to keep the club running. Here are ways in which you could help support the club:

1. Becoming a Vice President

Vice Presidents provide an important role working with the leadership of the club to shape the future direction. They have a publicly recognised role in the club and contribute an annual amount of £100 or more to the club. They are welcome to attend Committee Meetings in a non-voting capacity and are elected annually at the AGM.

2. Making a Gift Donation

We welcome regular and one-off gifts. Contributors can setup regular donations using our account at GoCardless or making a direct donation to our bank account which is account number 0420 9184 sort code 60 17 21 using your name as the reference. If you would like your donation to be recognised publicly or otherwise please contact our Treasurer.

Click here to join our Monthly Donation plan. Using GoCardless you can donate a regular amount of £3 each month to the club.

3. Attend one of our Social Events

Every year the club runs a number of social events that raise funds for the club. Events such as Wine Nights make a big impact on the clubs finances. Come along next time you see an event being run.

4. Sign up on easyfundraising.co.uk

If you shop online then you could be raising money for the club at the same time. You simply install the software in your browser and any shopping points are turned into funds for the club. Here is a link to our fundraising page.

5. Become a Member of the Club

We welcome both non-playing as well as playing members of the club. Non-playing members often make a vital contribution to the running of the club. Their membership fee provides another important source of income. Our latest Club Fees are listed here.

6. Become a Sponsor

As a Sponsor of the club, you receive additional marketing and publicity that helps your business. Your logo appears on the club shirt and all promotional materials. It helps generate additional custom and shows everyone that you value local cricket in the community.
